EuroFM

EuroFM started as a network in 1987 and was founded in 1993 as an association. The mission is the advancement of knowledge in FM in Europe and its application in Practice, Education and Research. EuroFM counts 90 members (34 National Associations; 40 Research/Educational Organisations; 16 Corporate Associates)

EuroFM Network Groups and Corporate Associates
The Network Groups Practice, Education, and Research are the life-blood of the association, and are the focus for all members’ activities and initiatives. Each member organisation is able to belong to any one (or more) of the Network Groups.

The Corporate Associates are seen as supporters of EuroFM and it's common interests. They play an active role in the activities and projects of the different network groups.

European Conference and EuroFM Meetings
Each year EuroFM and IFMA organise the European Facility Management Conference (EFMC), the main FM conference and research symposium in Europe. The EFMC 2010 will take place in n Madrid, www.efmc2010.com

eu-esco is the European Association of Energy Services Companies. It was founded by eu.bac – the European Building Automation and Controls Association – that has developed building standard procedures to determine the EPC potentials. eu-esco accelerates and individualizes the communication on EPC benefits to better assist the EU member states in achieving their energy efficiency targets.

eu-esco cares for practical energy services solutions and especially supports the Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) for more energy efficiency in existing buildings.

With particular emphasis on the modernization of building automation in existing public buildings eu-esco contributes to the practical implementation of the European Directives on energy performance in buildings, in particular the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and the End-user Energy Efficiency & Energy Services Directive (EEES).

European Energy Network EnR is a voluntary network currently numbering twenty three European energy agencies, with responsibility for the planning, management or review of national research, development, demonstration or dissemination programmes in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy and climate change abatement.

EnR provides a first point of contact for national energy agencies in EU Member States. EnR dedicates its efforts towards joint activities where its unique character provides added value at both a European and individual Member State level. It provides a channel for pan-European technical support on matters of energy policy, strategy, evaluation, programme design & delivery and marketing communications. The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) is an international partnership dedicated to energy market transformation and uniquely placed as a facilitator for the uptake of renewable energy and energy effiency systems.REEEP's vision is to accelerate the global market for sustainable energy by acting as an enabler, multiplier and catalyser of changing energy systems. With over 80 projects in more than 50 countries, REEEP is a respected change agent for sustainable energy systems. Its activities are concentrated on assisting governments and authorities in implementing favorable policies and measures for renewable energy and energy efficiency. In addition to contributing to lower regulatory risk, REEEP is also working with the private sector to develop innovative finance mechanisms to attract further investment in the arena.

The Partnerships key role in accelerating the clean energy market is delivered through a strong, mobile and influential network that understands  actions required at both a regional and international level. To that end, REEEPs Regional Secretariats in Beijing, Cape Town, Melbourne, Moscow, New Delhi, and Washington deliver real practical benefits for their regions covering over 90 countries in total. With more than 42 governments as formal partners and 10 governmental donors, the Partnership is well enabled to provide assistance regarding the development of supportive market conditions for renewable energy and energy efficiency. The Partnership is technology neutral, the primary premise being the need for renewable energy to be included in a country's energy mix in order to lower carbon emissions, provide access to energy and to improve energy security.
